Turkmenia: The tradition
of Turkmenian carpets goes far back before
the time of Christianity.
Mazandaran: This area produces
carpets for home use adorned with secular
motifs, or for religious use in the Holy Mosques
adorned with motifs originating in Iran's
Islamic Holy city of Qom.
Isfahan : This is Iran's
most ancient carpet producing site and a cradle
of culture whose brilliance reached far out
of Iran. Isfahan carpets adorn numerous museums
in the East and West and have won prizes at
